The Search: Continuing the Walk

I'm reading Rachel Held Evans book Searching for Sunday and I posted two quotes from the book on Facebook that I thought also belonged here.

In the book Searching for Sunday by Rachel Held Evans there is a short 2 page chapter entitled Hands. She ends the chapter with this short paragraph: "Through, touch God gave us the power to injure or heal, to wage war or to wash feet. Let us not forget the gravity of that. Let us not forget the call."
I thought that was good advice on this first work day after the Memorial Day weekend.

Today in chapter 24 "Wayside Shrines" she quotes Milton, " 'What in me is dark, illumine' ".
